Motive
My consulting and project work is motivated by the strong belief that anthropology provides equitable methods for real world problems, that scholars’ interests and skills should benefit our research partners, and that anthropology is a community-oriented service that can make a difference.
Who are my models, my muses? I look to people like Paul Farmer and Nancy Sullivan
(of Harvard, USA and Madang, PNG, respectively). Both are excellent examples of caring, critical, reflective and accomplished anthropologists, committed to using their academic training to make a difference in the world.
